Frequently Asked Questions

What types of contracts can it review?

The tool analyses residential and commercial leases, NDAs (non-disclosure agreements), service and consulting agreements, employment contracts, and virtually any PDF contract written in English.

Is this a substitute for legal advice?

No — this tool is designed to help you understand contracts more quickly, not to provide legal advice. Always consult a qualified lawyer before signing important legal documents, especially for high-value or complex agreements.

Is my contract kept private?

Completely. The contract PDF is read and analysed entirely in your browser. The AI model (Llama 3.2) runs on your device via WebGPU. Nothing is ever transmitted to a server — not the contract text, not the analysis.

What does "risk flag" mean?

Risk flags highlight clauses that may be unfavourable, unusual, or potentially problematic — such as automatic renewal terms, one-sided penalty clauses, broad indemnity obligations, or missing standard protections. They are starting points for further review.

What browser do I need?

AI-powered review requires Chrome 113+ or Edge 113+ on desktop (for WebGPU). A fallback regex-based summary mode works in all modern browsers including Firefox and Safari, though it is less comprehensive.
